This is a call to all of our mentors,too many to ignore, this generation of talented and influential men and women have shown us that with hard work,discipline, and calculated actions,success in life and business is inevitable. We saw with amazement and gladness a corporate professional become the Ooni of Ife. We can’t wait for all the great works in store for YorubaLand.
We need our mentors who have spent time building their business,creating jobs and breaking the boundaries for our generation to RISE up,form a movement and take hold of our country.
Tara Durotoye for example, her global make up line that has grown in leaps and bounds beyond our regular naija sense.
TY Bello, a sensational photographer,artist and singer captured the images of the high and mighty, dropped hit songs- The land is green, is ‘ever green ‘ in our minds .
Pastor Godman, Leader per excellence, everybody still wonders how he managed to grow to Pastor one of the biggest churches-The Elevation Church in Nigeria in less than 5 years.
Adeolu Akinyemi, Great man with the large heart and a genius in a lot of ways. his business and people management skills have not been rivalled.
This is to mention just a very few for the constraints of space and risk of boring You.
Our nation is in dire need of HELP. Give us HOPE,Let us have you, forward thinking people to vote for in the next ELECTION. Chude Jideonwo of Y!Naija wrote recently about his disappointment with the current government,voicing the pain in our hearts. We are tired of being disappointed! We don’t want to keep complaining.
We can take this country in our hands and change its course
As a concerned citizen of Nigeria 🇳🇬 ,as an ambitious 29yr old mother of a 2 yr old, who have seen the great potentials yet low advancements in her country, one who believes she can run for office in 10 years and win! We need our mentors and ‘egbons’ to show us the way! to liberate us from the fear of POLITICS. We need a new breed of people,disciplined,organized,calculated risk takers and leaders to STEP up to this HUGE challenge and CRACK it. I know, easier said than done but yeah, no one can do it alone. But together, we can make all it happen!
Ex President, Obasanjo said something recently talking to our generation … He said “don’t wish us dead, you need us as mentors”…
Get Mentoring from the ‘oldies ‘ and in turn mentor our own generation.
I call on you great men and women. YOUR COUNTRY needs you. Give your country HOPE. Give us something to look forward to in 2019. We don’t want to have to choose between the lesser evils like that of last time. ‘E Saanu wa’
